VINCORP is excited to announce another innovative product, structured to assist wine producers to manage their cash flow and client non-payment risk.

Disclosed Invoice Discounting is a financing product in terms whereof VINCORP provides finance of up to 80% of the face value of an approved debtor’s invoice to a supplier. The finance is provided without a balance sheet evaluation of the supplier. The product will be suitable for all suppliers that are providing payment terms to their clients and need access to cash.

RENTALS

1. BARREL RENTALS

 

Vincorp offers barrel finance for rental of new and used barrels to wineries in South Africa. This is an alternative to normal bank funding and is focused to your specific needs.

Our service to you:

  • Place the orders for you

  • Arrange delivery and liaise with barrel agents and suppliers regarding delivery dates

  • Secure foreign exchange cover on request

  • Settle supplier invoices which will come directly to Vincorp

  • Liaise with agents/suppliers if any problems are experienced with the barrels

Vincorp offers bin finance for rental of new and used plastic or wooden bins to clients in South Africa. This is an alternative to normal bank funding and is focused on your specific needs.

LOGISTICS SERVICES

1. WINE PRODUCERS

 

Vincorp offers a comprehensive logistical function. You supply us with a wish list of your barrel requirements and we will liaise with all the suppliers on your behalf.

You will receive one invoice from Vincorp. Vincorp will settle all the different agents, coopers, clearing agents, shipping lines, transport companies and authorities.

Our fee is an all-inclusive fee and no additional fees are charged for taking out forward cover, insurance etc. The savings that our system generates, usually exceeds the cost we charge.

We understand the industry and are therefore able to offer a comprehensive monitoring function which includes:

  • Review of prices – the local market is serviced by more than 70 agents, representing coopers all over the world. Every cooper has at least 15 offerings. If you do not work with all these different permutations on a daily basis, it is almost impossible to develop a good feel for the different costs involved.

  • Any differences on quotations/invoices will immediately be identified by our controls

  • Review of forwarding cover rates

  • Our systems are specifically designed for the barrel industry and provide a full and proper paper trail.

  • Vincorp pays the Customs VAT on your behalf – no additional finance fee is charged for this.

  • The outsourcing of the purchasing and logistics function ensures the proper segregation of duties.

  • Vincorp has established business relations with most of the French/European, American and Australian coopers.

2. AGENTS & SUPPLIERS

 

Vincorp offers a logistical and administrative service to agents and coopers which we can taylor according to your needs.

Our offering includes the following:

  • Logistical services – import of barrels and related products from Europe to South Africa via consolidated containers.

  • Administrative services

Herewith a short summary of our logistics/administrative service include:

  • You or your clients forward orders/details of barrels to be shipped to Vincorp

  • We will allocate the barrels to our containers

  • We will confirm all orders with you and notify you of loading dates

  • Our freight forwarder in Europe will liaise with the cooper to collect the barrels

  • We will arrange for barrels to be delivered to your clients in South Africa

  • Vincorp will invoice your clients on your behalf and actively collect monies from them

  • Vincorp can provide all foreign exchange services on behalf of your clients in South Africa

  • Vincorp will pay the ex-works value to Cooper in France – therefore you have to invoice Vincorp ex-works and we will invoice your clients a delivered price that will include our costs.

Our fees includes:

  • Foreign inland haulage

  • Sea freight

  • Marine insurance

  • Local customs and clearing

  • Local delivery

  • Local insurance

  • All related administrative services

  • All bank fees i.e. taking out forward cover on behalf of your clients and foreign currency transfers.
